Donor Relations Officer

**About the role**
As Donor Relations Officer you will play a key role in English National Ballet’s programme of donor engagement, information management, communication, and fundraising.
Working to the priorities set by the Supporter Engagement Manager, the role will focus on:
- Supporting the relationship management of our donors through excellent written and verbal communication, understanding the importance of donor care.
- Contributing towards securing fundraised income from membership and appeals.
- Leading on reporting across the Development team.
- Carrying out day-to-day administration of the Friends and Patrons schemes, which will include processing tickets, events bookings, and sending timely renewals.***
**Responsibilities**
- Manage and regularly review the donor thanking process; provide a point of continuity between the point of giving, the immediate mailing of thanks, and the ongoing process of donor reporting.
- Maintain a bank of reporting material available for donor reports and stewardship mailings, ensuring it remains up-to-date and broad in topic.
- Work in a collaborative and integrated way with colleagues across ENB, aimed towards the productive sharing of relevant organisational information.
- Act as an ambassador for ENB and attend events as required in evenings/weekends.
**Key Selection Criteria**
- Experience of working in fundraising and/or relationship or account management
- Ability to understand diverse interests of audiences across all giving levels, and how to develop messaging strategies that engage them.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to sensitively match communication styles to varying audiences.
- Ability to develop and manage strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills, ability to multitask against strict deadlines, with a focused and calm approach.
