**Role Overview**
Job Title: Security Banksman
Reports to: Logistic & Security Manager
Division: Business Unit - Transport
Location: Birmingham New Street Station
Shift Pattern: Saturday & Sunday
Time of work: 0800hrs - 2000hrs (24hrs/week)
Rate: £11:90/hr
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for managing safely goods in entrance of The Drum at Birmingham New Street Station
- Responsible for the access control for pre-booked delivery vehicles
- Complete logging of details for all vehicles in and out of the delivery yard
- General housekeeping of the work area and to ensure the area remains safe and operational at all times
- Undertake other value added duties requested by Line Managers
- Comply with site safety & operational rules and regulations at all times
- Ensure standards are adhered to all times
- Respond courteously to customer and management requests
- Take ownership of Health and Safety for yourself and others using the delivery yard.
- Complete all work in accordance with current legal Health and Safety requirements
- Comply with attendance system to record working hours
- Comply with lone-working hourly check call regulation
**Knowledge & Skills Required**
- Hold mandatory SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Hold Banksman Certification (can be completed in-house)
- Attend Mitie QSHE Training
- Receive Operation Procedure Training
- Role requires the use of PPE at all times
- Receive training on the vehicle booking system
- Fully understand role and responsibility during emergency evacuation
- Understand their responsibilities in respect of Fault, Damages, Accident & Incident reporting
- Mandatory D O B (Daily Occurrence Book) completion
