**JOB TITLE**: Senior HR/Employee Relations Advisor

**REPORTS TO**: Advice & Legal Services Manager

**LIASIONS WITH**: Existing Clients, ACAS, Solicitors, New Business Prospects

**HOURS OF WORK**: FULL TIME 37.5 Hours - 9.15am to 5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 9.15am to 4.30pm on Friday

You will be welcomed into the team of Employment Law/HR Advisors working with existing clients and reporting to the Advice and Legal Services Manager.

**MAIN DUTIES INCLUDE**:

- To give sound commercial employment law advice to a wide range of clients
- To create bespoke HR letters as necessary for clients and deliver in an efficient

timeframe
- To maintain accurate advice reports and any other admin tasks associated with

the role
- To participate on the out of hours advice rota (currently 1 week in 5)
- To attend client meetings as required and undertake any consultancy work as

required
- To develop and deliver client training sessions
- To research and draft content for the quarterly newsletter and social media

posts and bulletins.
- To update template letters as legislation changes and development of letters

generally.
- To Create monthly bulletins to send to clients.
- To research forthcoming legislation changes and communicate these to the

team/client base.
- To create contracts of employment and staff handbooks.
- To critique client documentation including policies and procedures.
- To maintain registration with any professional body i.e CIPD.
- To constantly self-develop to drive own professional development

**OTHER AD HOC DUTIES/PREFERABLE EXPERIENCE**:

- Experience or ability to present at events.
- Experience or ability to undertake consultancy work

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Demonstrable competency and experience in a similar role.
- To be a team player
- To be able to work under own initiative and take ownership of cases
- To be able to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks
- To be reliable and a good timekeeper and to be able to work within the core

office hours (Mon - Thurs 9am - 5pm Fridays 9am - 4.30pm)
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone manner.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
