**Purpose**

**Working Hours**:

- Monday - Friday, Based on a 40 hour week.

**Salary - **£28,000 - £29,000

**Annual Leave - **33 Days including bank holidays.

**Responsibilities and Skills**:

- Design and maintain the label database and enter appropriate information when printing labels.
- File designed and printed labels in the relevant file.
- Operate ‘Robotag’ machines with clear understanding, adhering to safe working practices.
- Reporting any machine deviations, errors or problems and discussing this with applicable colleagues.
- Maintain adequate stock levels of labels, ribbons, and packaging.
- Noticing quality deviations and informing the correct personnel.
- Keeping the label room work area(s) clean and tidy.
- Any other tasks required by managers, in line with the level of scope of the position.
- Plan label room staffing levels and authorize holidays.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are met and conduct timely inspections.
- Promote safe working practices and lead by example, particularly in relation to Health and Safety.
- Manage the Shift Seniors and support in employee relations ie, disciplinary, absence management.
- Monitoring and recording of staff and area performance.
- Record all wastage generated within the label room operation.
- Attend applicable meetings.
- Work closely with production planner and managers to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Interview and recruit colleagues as required, ensuing all official documents are obtained.
- Provide strong Leadership to a diverse manufacturing Organisation.
- Ensure Training and Development of colleagues takes place as detailed by the HR Department.
- Comply with Company rules and regulations as detailed within the Company handbook.

**Knowledge**:

- Product Knowledge - varieties of labels, sleeves/packaging and machinery applicable to label room area, including customer specifications.
- Procedures and work methods to a high standard.
- Previous Supervisor role.
- English level: Good level and understanding required.
- Organizing and training employees.
- Customer’s specifications and quality requirements.
