**Job Title**: Senior Psychotherapist

**Location**: On site in various locations in Lambeth, with occasional travel to head office

**Contract**: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

**Salary**:£36,843 - £43,292

We are seeking a Senior Psychotherapist with the relevant skills, qualities, drive and commitment to join Centrepoint Health and Wellbeing Team. This role will allow Centrepoint to expand their psychotherapy offer to Lambeth; and establish a stronger offer in the borough. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a culture of change and innovation; and who wishes to make a real, enduring and sustainable difference to the lives of the Young People Lambeth’s young people pathway.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work alongside other health practitioners, psychologists as well as working in an integrated model with housing teams. Working in partnership with colleagues in different departments, partner organisations and local services will be key to ensuring that our clients receive the support relevant to their mental, emotional and physical health needs. You will have a good working knowledge of primary healthcare and public health initiatives and you will be keen to acquire new skills.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present issues and material clearly and concisely to a range of audiences and a working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are essential. You will also need to demonstrate an understanding of and ability to use measuring tools (eg. CORE), information technology and information management systems.

As a Senior Psychotherapist, you will have hold a caseload of clients as well as line manage a team of psychotherapists. You will also be supporting the team to develop our offer and innovative ways to reach young people.

As a Psychotherapist, your core responsibilities will be conducting assessments and delivering 1-2-1 psychotherapy to homeless Young People (aged 16 - 25), in Lambeth’s young people pathway.
