Job Advert Location Description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Psychotherapist to join our CAMHS outpatient service providing therapy to our patients. The successful candidate will be accredited with BACP, BABCP or UKCP and be considered a 'CAMHS specialist' with strong experience working, both 1:1 and in groups, with the 12-18 age group.

Reporting to the Daycare/Outpatient Therapy Lead, the successful candidate will have 40% 'dedicated leadership time' during which they will be expected to work inovatively, supporting the management team in developing our CAMHS outpatient pathways locally and with other hospitals.

The successful candidate will be expected to manage a caseload of clients, scheduling appointments, providing intervention and giving feedback based on the assessment and agreed direction within the MDT. We hold our clinical record keeping to the highest standards and the holder of this post will be expected to do the same. This is also true of incident reporting and safeguarding which are especially important within our CAMHS service. Knowledge and experience of these functions is necessary to be successful in this role.

We take the development of our team very seriously and support with numerous internal training opportunities. Following a successful probationary period, CPD funding can be requested for relevant external training.
