Yard Operative

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Yard Operative for our new client based in Six Hills, Melton Mowbray. Our Client is a family-run business founded in 1981 and they supply wood materials to the local area. This is a Perm Yard Operative role which is paying £10.50 per hour.

**Working Hours are**:

- **Week 1 ** - Monday to Friday - 7am to 4pm (30 min lunch break)
- **Week 2** - Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm (30 min lunch break)
- **Week 2 **- Saturday - 7am to 12.30pm

**Yard Operative responsibilities and Duties**:

- Assisting customers
- Providing excellent customer service
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Picking and checking orders
- Storing stock safely
- Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
- Manual handling tasks
- Stock taking

**You will be working within a close-knit team and will be dealing with our Clients’ customers on a daily basis, so we are looking for someone that**:

- Has the likeability factor
- Has excellent customer service
- Is hard working
- Has a positive attitude
- Has good attention to detail (Reading, Writing & Counting is essential)
- Is prepared to work outside in all weathers
- Must be able to drive and have a car or motorbike
