Yard Operative

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Yard Operative for our new client based in Melton Mowbray. Our Client is a family-run business founded in 1981 and they supply wood materials to the local area. This is a Perm Yard Operative role which is paying £10.50 per hour. The hours for this exciting Yard Operative role are 37.5 per week and a salary between £20,475 to £21,840.

**Working Hours are**:

- Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays
- 8am to 5pm

**Yard Operative responsibilities and Duties**:

- Assisting customers
- Providing excellent customer service
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Picking and checking orders
- Storing stock safely
- Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
- Manual handling tasks
- Stock taking

**You will be working within a close-knit team and will be dealing with our Clients’ customers on a daily basis, so we are looking for someone that**:

- Has good attention to detail (Reading, Writing & Counting is essential)
- Is prepared to work outside in all weathers
