**Location: Newbury (Blended working)**

The Product Owner will lead the design of a portfolio of new capabilities on the Customer Centric Stack (CCS) making sure that all functionality essential to supporting the legacy Libra base is designed on time. You will also drive a simplicity agenda making sure that the necessary business decisions are made quickly to enable the designs to bring simplification to a reality in the CCS.

The Product Owner prioritises the backlog of design features that have to be built in the CCS, and is responsible for writing the user-stories that drive the solution designs. You will manage a set of senior stakeholders to ensure all decisions underpinning designs are agreed by all relevant parties. Ultimately the Product Owner makes the final decision on any topic under their remit.

**What will you be doing?**
- Acquire a detailed understanding of legacy capability and its design.
- Build a backlog of user-stories that drives the solution design for the new capabilities needed on the CCS.
- Drive a simplification agenda into the design activity that will either reduce the cost of building capability or result in an increase in operational efficiency in the target environment.
- Maintain a detailed awareness of all planned future changes that might impact in-flight designs and take timely mitigating action.
- Identify the key stakeholders essential to the portfolio and drive rapid decision-making to underpin the designs.
- Prioritise the backlog for delivery of the functional capabilities - taking into account the need to synchronise with other activities within the programme.
- Lead the workstream to commit to challenging but realistic timescales for completing the high-level designs fostering a can-do attitude for delivering excellence.

- Track record of identifying and contributing to Business Requirement Specification documentation
- Relevant in-depth knowledge of the scoped business area.
- Strong analytical skills paying rigorous attention to detail.
- Excellent communicator able to adapt style to persuade stakeholders.
- Strong track-record of leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience in agile methodology preferred.
- Experience in working in large programmes (multi-year and mult-million) preferred.
- Background in business analysis, business process re-engineering or business transformation
