To work within the Maternity Services team, providing clerical support to Midwifery and Medical teams at Victoria Hospital and Queen Margaret Hospitals. To provide a full administrative service to clinical, nursing and midwifery staff within the Women, Children & Clinical Services Directorate in order to support the provision of direct care and treatment of patients. Primarily patient facing, to greet and direct to appropriate department of care as well as to assist the midwifery teams make appropriate referrals and to arrange appointments. Training will be provided.
Up-to-date keyboard skills and working knowledge of Microsoft packages are essential. Previous clerical / administration experience necessary within a hospital environment and use of Pecos Ordering System are advantageous.
Please note the salary for this post is pro rata to part time hours.
