This exciting opportunity will assist the Head of Trusts to maximise income to support the Association’s care and research programmes. As a Trusts Fundraising Officer, you will manage a portfolio of trusts and foundations, to maintain and increase trust income.

Key priorities for this role include:

- Research trust priorities and guidelines and match projects to funders; identify new funding opportunities and develop high quality funding proposals
- Monitor the delivery and spend of funded projects
- Manage funder relationships and provide excellent stewardship

This collaborative role will involve developing good relationships with our Research, Care, External Affairs and Finance Teams to develop project proposals and budgets for new and existing services.

This is a hybrid-working opportunity with the expectation to work from the Northampton office approx. 1 - 2 days per month.

**What are we looking for?**

Experience of trust fundraising with a proven track record of securing income against set targets is essential.

You will need to have experience of developing and writing high quality trust proposals and the ability to work collaboratively with operational teams.

Excellent communication skills are key, you will need to build good relationships with external funding bodies, trusts and internal audiences.

Key skills include: Excellent attention to detail, ability to develop accurate budgets, work to tight deadline and maintain an excellent level of supporter care.
