Sheffield, United Kingdom Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Full time

We are currently looking to appoint to two vacancies in the ENT team. The appointments are to commence in December 2023, the first post for 4 months, the second post for 10 months. These posts do not award a National Training Number. As these posts are not recognised as a ‘training post’, full registration with the GMC with a licence to practise is required, and if the appointee does not hold right of residence in the UK sponsorship will be required. The duties of these posts are equivalent to ST3 level.

The person appointed is required to be sufficiently flexible to undertake their main clinical duties at any of the sites within the Trust and/or to change their base hospital.

The ENT Consultants will delegate specific duties and responsibilities in accordance with experience/competence and the needs of the department. Changes in duties and responsibilities will be agreed with the Consultant to whom the post holder will be responsible, i.e. Prof J. Ray, Clinical Director.

The Specialty Registrar will cover one night’s on-call per week, including prospective cover for one another, as well as providing prospective cover for the other registrars.
