We are excited to announce a new 12 month **FIXED TERM** deputy role in our charity.

**Working pattern will be: Monday, 9am - 2pm, Wednesday, 9am - 2pm, Friday, 9am - 2pm.**

This role will be supporting the delivery our community events and contributing to fundraising and promotional opportunities for ACBF.

Currently the post holder will support the Lead Events and Community Officer and be responsible for the delivery of community groups / social clubs under the remit of combatting and reducing social isolation and promoting community, companionship and fun for the elderly. Your role will be supporting the development, implementation and physical delivery of community groups. Age Concern Bracknell Forest will also be seeking the post holder to support with fundraising, and other events / opportunities deemed appropriate as well as driving and improving the charities community presence.

Ensure activities are inclusive of equality, diversity and promote inclusion. Managing another part-time member of staff.

Supporting with risk assessments for any community building and activity undertaken on an ongoing basis. Including client risk assessments where appropriate.

Assisting with the creation and delivery of community groups, outings and more for older people. Providing an exhilarating roster of entertainment, education and craft. Ensuring sessions are varied that keep our members visiting us each week.

Ensure activities are inclusive of equality, diversity and promote inclusion. Managing another part-time member of staff.

Confident in contacting organizations/partners to seek support with funding, planned activities of Age Concern.

Be willing to create, organize and deliver fundraising events which will act as signposting our charities information and generating revenue for the charity.

Be willing to be creative / flexible and support Age Concern in developing new fundraising opportunities.

To support social media content with evidence of work undertaken.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
