Senior Care Assistant, Days

**Duties**:
- Provide personal care and support in a compassionate and respectful manner
- Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Engage in conversation and provide companionship to promote emotional well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry
**Skills**:
- Previous experience in a similar role is required along with administering medication.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Empathy and patience when working with elderly individuals
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and situations
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
**NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care** highly desirable.
