Landsec Internships are exciting opportunities to join our business with six months of paid work experience. It’s important to us that Landsec reflects the communities we’re part of, which is why our internships aim to give people who might not have previously considered working in the real estate industry the chance to start their career in our organisation. Landsec Internships are entry level meaning it doesn’t matter if you have any work experience, what school you went to, or if you went to university. You might be at the start of your career, or even looking for a change in career. The placements are designed to build your confidence, transferable skills and experience in the world of work, while giving you the opportunity to contribute new insights and perspectives to our business. Please note that Landsec Internships have eligibility criteria in line with our social mobility focus - you can find more details about this below.

What’s involved?- Six months of paid work experience starting in late May 2024.-
- The chance to build your experience and skills in a dynamic and inclusive FTSE-100 business, hosted in a specific team at Landsec, where you will work on exciting projects during your internship.-
- Training, learning and development opportunities to develop your skillset and confidence, including access to LinkedIn Learning.-
- A team buddy and senior mentor to grow your professional network, alongside personal coaching and support from an external provider.-
- The opportunity to join our diversity and employee networks.-
- London Living Wage salary of £23,933 (pro-rata for 6 months).-
- Landsec Internships are designed to give you the first step on your career journey in the real estate industry - please note that these are six-month opportunities with no guarantee of a permanent role at the end.The role - People Team Intern

The Landsec People team is passionate about our team purpose - we build the people who build the places. The People team manage the employee lifecycle and are committed to delivering an excellent employee experience for everyone at Landsec. We shape and deliver people strategies that help the business to meet their goals. This is an exciting opportunity to join a proactive People team with a clear set of people focused objectives and priorities for the coming year.

The aim of the role is to support the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) and the employee reward and benefits agendas, which are both key for the People team and Landsec. In this position you will support our D&I strategy which focuses on three key areas - recruiting and nurturing diverse talent, building an inclusive workplace culture and creating inclusive places that meet the needs of the communities we work in. You will work in collaboration with the Group D&I Manager and colleagues from our employee networks, comms and events teams. Your role will include creating and updating intranet content, making engaging content using PowerPoint, and coordinating employee events. You will also track progress against D&I action plans and budgets, and help to onboard new suppliers.

In the Reward team, you will help to review the employee experience relating to the employee lifecycle and our benefits package. This will involve compiling, reviewing and making recommendations to improve our new starter induction, intranet content and documents to ensure everyone in our business receive a positive experience. There is also the opportunity to get involved with arranging events for employees about the range of benefits available for them.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about Diversity & Inclusion. You should be curious, have a good attention to detail and an interest in making improvements, with the ability to think about the impact on (and experience for) Landsec people. We’d like you to have some skills in creating engaging content (e.g. turning a dry PowerPoint presentation into an engaging one) and good written communication skills to engage with people in a professional manner. We will support you with coaching to gain confidence in working with a wide range of different stakeholders. If you have an interest in improving your Excel skills, we’ll spent time with you working on data analysis.

Can I apply?
