Overview:
The role of the Marketing Assistant is to work with the Sr Demand Gen & Events Manager to plan and implement demand generation and events marketing activities for the Commerce business unit which deliver on the EMEA marketing strategy, aligned to strategic company and regional goals.

This role will work closely with the EMEA Marketing team and Regional Sales, to ensure the successful creation and delivery of a GTM plan to support the growth of the Commerce business. Whilst predominantly focused on securing net new business, this role will also have responsibility driving retention strategies within existing customers.

This role would ideally suit someone who is passionate about marketing and is looking to build their career in B2B marketing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in developing and executing the Commerce marketing strategies and plans
- Effectively create and implement marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, events, social, partnerships) from planning through to tracking and reporting on return on investment.
- Work closely with other internal stakeholders, including external agencies, to successfully develop and implement campaigns that build brand awareness, equity and drive leads for our core products and services.
- Implement comprehensive tracking to ensure ongoing campaign optimisation based on sales insights as well as key marketing metrics, including, but not limited to lead volume, cost per lead, cost per acquisition
- Manage and track marketing spend and evaluate ROI
- Ensure that marketing activity is tracked and evaluated against defined KPIs and report findings as appropriate.
- Ensure that all marketing communications are in line with brand guidelines and to a high standard.
- Best Practice: pro-actively review and work within company policies, standard operating procedures, company, and legislative updates to ensure you are working in line with best practice and business risk is minimized.

Qualifications:

- Super organised and passionate. Someone who wants to make an impact and is determined to succeed.
- Interested in a career in B2B marketing, analytical and insight driven
- An ability to work to fast paced organisations, work to tight deadlines and KPI’s, with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills (good copywriting is essential)
- Ability to effectively work with multiple teams to enable the effective execution of campaigns.
- Resourceful and curious
- if you don’t know the answer, you’ll find it or better yet, craft it yourself and share.
- Comfortable originating and bringing new ideas
- Technically savvy - able to quicky get to grips with marketing technology stacks such as Marketo, Workfront, Google Analytics etc
