**Monday - Friday, a choice of set hours that suit you between a range 8am - 6pm (you’ll only work 37.5 hours per week). No weekends.**

Match Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of their client based in Northampton. Since the pandemic they’ve only become busier. You’ll be joining a business with a strong and stable business model.

**Purpose of role**:
You’ll be working within our client’s small Purchasing team. 80% of this is administration based: forecasting, reviewing and analysing data, raising PO numbers, updating their CRM system and all things (office based) stock replenishment and stock monitoringwith the simple aim to ensure our client always has adequate and available product stock.

**Daily duties and responsibilities**:

- Ensure best possible demand forecast and associated replenishment parameters are maintained. Continually review and revise performance to maintain optimum and/or contractual service levels. Be aware of significant deviations of actual demand v forecast,and alert stakeholders as necessary.
- Ensure any supplier minimum or maximum or average inventory holding KPI are met.
- Anticipate and plan for change, seasonal fluctuations in demand, impact of PI and Generic stock levels, bank holidays, supplier closures and operational issues. Promotions, trading deals and new lines to be ordered in a timely manner once due diligenceapproval is met. Plan and de-risk product off patent, and divestments.
- Review known supply issues and strive to ensure continuity of supply by creating out of schedule orders or transferring stock internally. Be aware of any inbound supply constrained lines and work closely with line manager and key stake holders to agreean effective downstream strategy
- Identify imbalances in stockholding which may affect stock investment or introduce risk of obsolescence. Seek to reduce stock levels via internal transfer or return to supplier.
- Report 'dead’ stock to appropriate stakeholders.
- Take supply chain ownership of product life cycle from New Line to product discontinuation
- Understanding the process of setting up contract pricing on CRM and maintaining this system through the length of the contract to ensure correct pricing is applied at all times
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with both the Manufacturers and our client’s Stakeholders to ensure accurate contract information is received and confirmed in the appropriate time frame
- Working with Manufacturers and Stakeholders to manage all and any contracts changes and expiries
