This is an excellent opportunity and of key importance to the Auto business line. Reporting to the Director of Motor Sales Operations, as **Head of Risk Strategies and Treatments**, you will need to design treatment strategies for complex complaints, taking into account product design, industry practice, and the wider legal & regulatory landscape.

You will likely have a successful and proven track record in Product Governance and Design, with a background in a regulated financial services environment. A detailed working knowledge of the Consumer Credit Act and experience in the Motor Finance sector would be advantageous

You will need to be skilled in managing relevant stakeholders within the Auto business line and across the wider One Aldermore Group, attending various risk committees, and being able to recommend and design treatment and rectification strategies for complex complaints in order to meet the requirements of the business and our customers.

**_ What your day will look like:_**
- Leading a small specialist team who provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders on existing and historic systems and processes.
- Designing treatment strategies for complex complaints, taking into account product design and industry practice, in addition to legal & regulatory guidance.
- Influencing senior stakeholders as to the strategic direction of treatment strategies.
- Coordinating the inputs and outputs of the monthly Executive Steering Group.
- Facilitating a weekly working group to assimilate and collate all current information and present a summary update on any progress to cross departmental senior stakeholders, including our Legal and Compliance teams.
- Providing thought leadership and strategic recommendations for proposing any changes in strategic approach and to changing processes as a result of internal or industry developments.
- Keeping abreast of any Regulatory and Legislative developments that impact the Motor Finance Industry, ensuring that such learning informs ongoing Product Development and adheres to the Consumer Duty rules.
- Organising and supporting the development and co-ordination of presentations and communications for both internal and external audiences, developing the content directly as appropriate.
- Proactively identifying, monitoring and mitigating associated risks and issues.
- Liaising closely with the Finance Business Partner to understand any financial impact.
