**In a nutshell**:
In this exciting role, you will report into the SVP Operations. This role is responsible for our global property portfolio, including lease management, acquisitions, disposals and building fit outs. You will also take an active lead on the overall safety, compliance and management of the facilities provision in the UK including property maintenance, housekeeping and company vehicles.

**Day to day**:

- You will ensure our Property & Facilities are safe and compliance, including adherence to all Health and Safety requirements, legislation, and company standards.
- Ensuring all UK properties are appropriately maintained, providing a functional, clean, secure and inspiring environment for both customers and colleagues.
- Making sure that the appropriate supporting services are present and efficiently run for our UK property portfolio.
- Securing, negotiating on terms, nurturing relationships and providing ownership of property leases, tenancies, rental agreements, tenancy at will and wayleaves for all Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Atlantic Holidays properties globally.
- You will lead on property fit-out and disposals, including the sourcing of professional teams, specialist contractors where required and providing an oversight of works, ensuring they conform to the requirements.
- Working closely with internal customers (specifically Design, Technology and the internal Customer) and landlords to ensure the property portfolio reflects the business requirements in terms of design, occupancy and purpose.
- Leading the global fleet of non-specialist vehicles and small vans, ensuring that they are aligned with the required rules and legislation, are properly maintained and used in accordance with the company rules and procedures.
- The Head will review and action mid-term replacement strategies balancing the capital requirement, fuel efficiency and business fleet requirements.
- Providing management and oversight of the front of house team, catering and vending provision/contracts, together with other business support activities.
- You will act as the primary point of contact for local support groups, including Gatwick Diamond, Manor Royal Bid and represent your business area on cross-functional forums including the Operations Resilience Board (ORB) and Senior Leadership Group (SLG).

Are you a Property and Facilities leader with exceptional people and negotiation skills and a passion for providing excellence, whilst inspiring your people to be their best? If this sounds like you and you have the below skills and capabilities, then we'd love to hear from you
- Experience in a senior leadership position operating cross-functionally across a large and sophisticated organisation
- Membership of professional organisation such as BIFM, RICS, or equivalent is advantageous but not essential
- Holder of IOSH and NEEBOSH H&S qualifications, and legionella awareness training
