**National Careers Service Advisor. Student Services. Part Time 30 Hours Per Week. Fixed Term Contract Until 31 July 2024.**

(This post is fixed term until 31 July 2024, but there is a possibility that the contract maybe extended further).

We have an exciting opportunity for a committed, highly motivated individual to join our National Careers Service Team. You will be providing impartial information, advice, and guidance to our 19+ clients who will be current/prospective students, or members of the wider community. The service is currently funded through the National Careers Service contract.

As a Careers Advisor you will provide careers information and guidance in a variety of formats including face to face 1:1 sessions, drop-ins, group presentations, telephone and online via teams (e-guidance). You will work well as part of a wider team with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of young people and mature clients from a variety of backgrounds.

You will have in depth knowledge of the National Careers Service delivery model, including action planning, and destination tracking and success monitoring. Knowledge and experience in career guidance preferably within an FE or community setting will be an advantage.
- Have a Level 2 qualification in maths and English
- Level 3 in Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) or the willingness to undertake additional training as necessary.
