Venn Group are currently supporting a global business based in Leeds who due to an unforseen resignation due to poor health, now have a requirement for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a temp to perm basis.

The company are based in South Leeds (LS27), and you will be required on site full time, 8.30am until 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

The role is a full, end to end Purchase Ledger position and duties will include:

- Process GFR invoices dealing with all related queries (e.g. shortages, PODs etc).
- Process overhead invoices coding and obtaining authorisation from branches.
- Accurate scanning & filing of invoices.
- Resolution of supplier payment queries in a timely manner.
- Carry out supplier statement reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Provide assistance to the Accountant in monthly payment runs.
- Provide assistance to the Accountant in month and year end processes.
- Assist the statutory audit process.

Ideally, you will have previous experience in a Purchase Ledger position, although this position is suitable for a strong administrator/graduate looking to kickstart a career in a finance department.

Experience with Excel and SAP would be advantageous but by no means essential.
