Based in Morley Leeds we are seeking a part time bookkeeper (full time would be considered with additional admin duties) initially to cover maternity leave. Working as part of a small head office team your main functions will be to manage the Sage accounting system but also help in general office duties as and when required.

We are a major national supplier and installer of pallet racking, shelving and warehouse systems with customers from the largest blue chip customers to small and medium sized businesses. Functions required to be undertaken on a day to day basis include:

- Sales and purchase ledger on sage
- Bank reconciliation
- Credit control
- Prepare payment runs
- Complete CIS monthly returns
- Managing cash flow
- Preparation of Vat Returns due to HMRC
- Prepare monthly management accounts for the directors.
- Liaising with Directors
- Adhoc office duties

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following skills:

- Sage Software experience
- Knowledge and experience using excel
- Previous bookkeeping experience within an SME business, ideally AAT qualified or equivalent
- Knowledge of CIS reporting
- A good telephone manner
- Keen eye for detail and the ability to work to own initiatives with a hands-on approach

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
