This is fantastic opportunity to work within a busy and professional winning team. Within this role you will have exposure to a wide range of opportunities that will have you partnering with our UK business functions to the wider EMEA HR team. You will have the opportunity not just to understand the HR function and the role it plays, but you will also have exposure to a wide range of HR generalist activities, as well as some exciting projects. **This is a 6 month Internship at SCJ UK.**

**Responsibilities**

**As the HR intern you will support the UK Field HR team in the following activities**:

- ** Providing HR advice and guidance to employees and line managers across the UK organisation.** You will improve your knowledge and understanding of HR policies and UK labour law and learn how to put this into practice.
- ** Managing the activation and deployment for the UK employee engagement events calendar, as well as, the delivery of our wellbeing agenda and internal communications. **During this project, you can channel your creative thinking and develop your organisational skills. You will learn the importance of employee experience in an organisation and will play a key part in delivering the SCJ experience to UK employees.
- ** Supporting the HR team in the delivery of a best in class onboarding experience for new starters. **You will partner with the HR team to deliver onboarding sessions and maximise the new starter experience.
- ** Providing assistance in employee relations matters**. You will have exposure to disciplinary, grievance, and absence management by supporting the HR team with meetings and note taking.
- ** Supporting and Coordinating HR projects/tasks as required**.** You will have the opportunity to work with our EMEA TA team in our deployment of university partnerships in the UK.

**Experience you'll bring**
- Undergraduate degree
- Good proficiency in MS Office
- As you will be interreacting with a variety of teams from our UK business and across the European region, you will need to be a strong communicator, who is willing to learn, and build successful relationships with your colleagues and stakeholders.
- You will be managing a variety of projects, so we are looking for an organized individual who is able to multi-task and prioritize.
