A leading provider of finanacal services is seeking a Network Engineer on a contract basis for 6 months who can help support, implement and maintian live network infrastrcture.
**The role**:
The security of networks is also vital for the role and as such experience with ACLs, prefix lists, route maps as well as FortiGate firewalls is required, with exposure to IDS/IPS being advantageous.
**Skills required**:
Specifically, the network specialist will perform the following duties, in conjunction with colleagues Globally:
- Provide support for the banks routing using standard routing protocols (OSPF / BGP)
- Working with programme management, assist in gathering the technical requirements for network projects
- Develop a vision for the evolution of the network in line with the business' vision and work with project management to deliver
- Work well within the team to support, share or pick up work as required to ensure projects and problem tickets are completed and/or closed in a timely manner
- Support firewall infrastructures in global markets sites and co-location facilities
- Documentation & change management
- Provide top level expertise on network devices
