**Your New Role**

The Internal Sales Co-ordinator will be responsible for outbound calls increasing sales, seeking new business and maintaining business level with current local and national accounts, to further develop and grow a brand and service that becomes the 'go to’player in the supply of stone, aggregates & construction products.
- Working closely together with the Internal Sales Team Leader & Internal Sales Administrator to ensure sales targets are achieved
- Outbound calls to generate new business
- Calling lapsed and dormant accounts
- Account Management and existing customers with a view to "upsell"
- Be the first point of call to best assist our customers through the buying process
- To negotiate/re-negotiate supply rates for aggregates
- Prepare and finalise quotations and close out sales
- To be the first point of contact to best assist the customers
- 50% Develop and maintain existing customer relationships, building rapport and up selling
- 50% drive new business - generating and following up on new leads
- To act as a main contact between the Company and its customer and supplier networks.
- To develop customer and supplier leads, tracking locations and availability of products.
- To negotiate/re-negotiate supply rates for aggregates, stone and all other materials
- Negotiate confidently and chase up and record all possible sales opportunities.
- Where required negotiate and arrange delivery options for the customer.
- Prepare and finalise quotations/proposals and close out sales enquiries.

**The Person**
- Understanding of the customer base
- Understanding of aggregates/stone would be an advantage however not essential
- Confident on the telephone is essential
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly organised and efficient
- Professional and courteous manner
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to juggle tasks and prioritise
- Self-motivated - takes responsibility to make things happen
- Quick thinking and able to make a decision to solve problems
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
