Role: Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias)

**Salary**: £47,000-£50,000 per annum + Overtime + Car Allowance
Location: Corby, Northamptonshire
Job type: Full time, Permanent
Interaction have partnered with a specialised engineering firm based in Corby who operate across the UK, Ireland & Europe. Due to vast expansion and success over the past 12 months, this client are actively welcoming an electrical bias engineer to the teamon a full time, permanent basis.

- Overtime readily available and paid at enhanced rates (Midweek standard, Saturday 1.5x, Sunday 2x)

The Role:

- To carry out maintenance & repairs on bespoke packaging machinery inclusive of both mechanical, electrical repairs & PLC programming.
- Repair and service AC/DC Drives & Motors, Control based systems, Gearboxes, Relays & Sensors
- Read technical drawings in line with machinery specifications - capabilities surrounding the use of Autocad to produce drawings would be an advantage.
- Occasional travel to sites across the UK, Ireland & Europe (15% of the year alongside all travel, accommodation paid for)
- Liaise within the team & clients to ensure a high level of service & quality of work carried out
**Requirements**:

- Relevant Electrical/Mechanical qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds), 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, Electrical Installations, Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge surrounding PLCs & Programming - Essential
- Knowledge surrounding AC/DC Drives, Motors, Gearboxes, Servo drives or controls would be advantageous
- Open to nationwide / internationally travel (only 15% of the year and time all paid for)
- Full UK Drivers License
- Knowledge surrounding Autocad design & technical drawings
