Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer Salary: £36,500 rising to £37,500 following successful completion of probation period (this includes shift allowance). Plus, you will receive a bonus.
Acorn by Synergie is currently seeking an Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer on behalf of their client to work as part of a multi-skilled team. The role involves carrying out PPM activities alongside reactive maintenance activities in a busy manufacturing environment.
Shift Pattern: 15 shift pattern of 8-hour shifts Monday to Friday. You'll work a week of days 7am-3pm, a week of backs 3pm-11pm, and a week of nights 11pm-7am.
Capable of working alongside a group of multiskilled engineers, but also independently when required.
# Qualified electrician with a relevant electrical Level 3 qualification (NVQ, ONC, BTEC etc); 18th Edition and basic mechanical knowledge are advantageous.
# Experience with low voltage electrical systems, drives, and PLC's.
# Ability to fault find within electrical systems and root cause failure analyses.
# Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems (SAP PM experience would be ideal).

Prepare and carry out electrical maintenance activities across the plant.
# Record all engineering activities (preventive, corrective, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance) using the site MMS.
# Work with different types of drives, AC/DC motors, and basic PLC fault finding.
# Interpret electrical drawings.
# Contribute to decreasing the total life cycle cost of assets and the cost of maintenance.
# Maintain all assets within designated areas of responsibility to high engineering standards.
# Identify and implement plant area improvement activities supporting continuous improvement of plant availability, safety, environment, and asset performance.
