**Introduction**:
**Our client is a multinational information technology services and consulting company They are looking for a **Database Administrator to work across multiple teams to implement standards, policies, and procedures for continual service improvement.**

Due to the nature of this role, you must hold the highest level of DV clearance and a full British passport.

This a hybrid role that will require you on site in Gloucestershire 2-3 days a week.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide first and second level technical support on incidents and problems
- Monitor overall system performance and ensure smooth system functionality
- Create, maintain, and utilise documentation
- Assist in building compliance
- Identify risk and escalate to the correct department
- Work to ITIL best practices

**Skills & experience**:

- Excellent risk identification skills
- Exposure to automation software (Ansible and Puppet)
- Experience or knowledge of various Red Hat related products (Satellite 6, OpenShift 3/4, RHEL/CentOS 6/7/8, and RHEL Atomic/CoreOS)
- Knowledge of scripting with Bash, Python, and/or Git
- Experience of AWS
