**About us**
- Responsibilities:

- Take lead on all Health and Safety activities onsite, including creating and maintaining accurate and up to date health and safety records (including risk assessments, policies accident investigations, training)
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, including incident reports, inspection findings, and recommendations for improvement
- Provide safety training and education to employees on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, and safe work practices
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to workplace safety

Assist with the development, improvement and auditing of the health and safety systems(including ISO 45001)

Qualifications:

- Experience as health and safety officer (or similar) within a manufacturing environment (essential)

Experience with ISO 45001 (desirable)

NEBOSH qualification (desirable)
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in report writing and data analysis
