**Technical Service Head - Placement Services (Documentation & Tax)**

Are you an experienced operations or client service leader looking for a new opportunity in a niche area of expertise?

We are looking for a leader to work closely with our offshore Placement Centre of Excellence by providing mentorship and oversight in all activities supported by this team while interacting with our broking teams and the wider London market.

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our London and/or Chelmsford offices.

**What the day will look like**:
The role will be responsible for the activity performed by our outsource partner (Genpact) encompassing various elements related to Placement, including MRC documentation production, premium tax schedules, client due diligence and NOC management. It will include:

- Managing the offshore Placement Centre of Excellence (CoE) team to ensure key KPIs and SLAs are met and providing specialist advice, guidance, training, and query resolution.
- Providing a focal point for all queries relating to the services provided by the Placement CoE across the broking & client service teams.
- Drive increased usage of the Placement CoE through positive engagement with all teams in the Global Broking Centre.
- Identifying areas of continuous improvement though demonstrating consistency and scale and growing the scope of services provided by the CoE.
- Working closely with the GBC Technical Director to ensure the CoE adhere to the required market standards for MRC documentation

Our Placement CoE provides an invaluable service to the broking teams, improving client service and reducing queries and errors. This is a great opportunity to build on this success and extend the reach of the CoE across all broking teams including interacting with our colleagues across the world, and across the London market in general.

This is a leadership role working in tandem with the GBC Technical Director and the Aon Central Tax team to ensure the services provided comply with MRC & tax requirements.

**Skills and experience that will lead to success**:
To be successful in this role experience in working with an offshore team is critical, including driving performance through key metrics, service level agreements and capacity management.

A good understanding of Lloyd’s and global insurance placements and documentation is also required, with some knowledge of premium taxes beneficial along with a desire to increase knowledge in this area.
