We have a current opportunity for a Reporting Manager on a contract basis. The position will be based in Reigate 2 days per week and 3 days remote, inside of IR35.
The Treasury Middle Office team manages and controls the reporting of liquidity, investment assets, derivatives, and collateral for the business in a pro-active, accurate and efficient manner. As the Group continues to grow in size and complexity, there isincreased focus on managing liquid funds, financial assets, derivatives and collateral effectively, and the team is responsible for the risk management, reporting and compliance of such arrangements. In addition, the team is also responsible for timely andinformative communication to management regarding the group's liquidity position, and for highlighting any issues that require action. This includes preparing a monthly report to the Prudential Regulation Authority ("PRA").
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join the team in this standalone role as Fixed Income Reporting Manager. You will be joining the 4-person team during a period of technological transformation (transitioning from legacy systems and process to FISQuantum) so you will have the chance to be part of the Treasury Reporting team's journey to become best in class.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately report on daily liquidity balances and keep abreast of material cash movements to provide commentary to line manager and Head of Treasury; and compile weekly liquidity reporting for weekly Liquidity Management meeting
Financial assets reporting is a large part of this role and has to be done critically, rigorously and accurately given that many stakeholders require this information
Daily loading and monitoring of the investment data in FIS Quantum
Reviewing data outputs from FIS Quantum and maintenance of non-public information in FIS Quantum
Perform and report on the data quality checks for Actuarial team
Prepare management information reports, regulatory and audit reports
Understanding the journals created in FIS Quantum that will be fed into the accounting system, Oracle
Key Skills
- Reporting experience is essential, ideally gained in a treasury environment within financial services but other sector experience will be considered
- Knowledge of FIS Quantum is highly desirable but not essential, good Excel skills are essential
- Knowledge of financial analysis and controls and data management and analysis is beneficial
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
- This role is part of a sequence of events so crucial it is on time
