**You First Support Services: Join M’s Micro Team in Yeovil**

**Hours: 20-25 HOURS PER WEEK, Evenings & Every other weekend (CONTRACTED AND GUARANTEED)**

**Pay: £12.15ph
- £12.40ph + 35p per mile (commuting and business)**

**Support times are 7am-12pm, 12pm-5pm & 5pm-8pm or 10pm depending on day of week.**

M is a mature lady that requires 24hr support in her own home.

M has autism and needs people that can learn to communicate with her on her terms.

M Enjoys foods and cooking.

M Enjoys activities such as drives, walking, trips out to local shops and play.

M needs structure, routine, and consistency to help her navigate her day.

M likes friendly, empathic people that will work to build her trust.

M has her own dedicated micro team, being able to work as part of a term, is important to M’s daily support.
- **You First is a forward thinking, innovative and market leading Social Enterprise, formed as a Community Interest Company (CIC), that enables neurodivergent people, people with learning disabilities and/or mental health illness to build and grow their lives in a way that is both meaningful and purposeful for them. This is achieved by creating small, bespoke, dedicated teams of people who are selected by the person supported and who work to enable the person to fulfil their goals, hopes, dreams and aspirations. We call these bespoke teams Micro-Teams.**_

You First Support Services will provide:

- Pay £12.15ph from the moment you start working with us, there is no probation rate.
- Weekends are paid at £12.40ph
- We pay 35p per mile for EVERY mile you travel, including commuting miles.
- We offer permanent, full time, part time and casual contracts and you can choose what works best for you and your needs.
- You will have a permanent contract that provides you with guaranteed regular hours.
- You will have a full induction before commencing work and this will include person specific training and shadow supports.
- Each team has a Slack (virtual message board) page when you can obtain feedback and support from fellow team members and managers.
- We operate a 24-hour On Call facility, so you always have access to support in emergency situations.
- We do not use Zero Hour Contracts.
- We provide an occupational pension.
- We have an Employee Assistance Programme meaning you and your family have access to free and confidential 24-hour counselling and support.
- We meet the cost of your DBS check.
- You will receive full training and bi-monthly supervision.
- If you are new to social care, you will be supported through your Care Certificate in paid time.
- You will have the option to study for a nationally recognised Diploma.
- You will have your roster 4 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your life Your roster will be in the form of an App.

Please note that due to the specific nature of the work required for this position, it is an occupational requirement for the Support Worker to be female and this requirement is a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim, in accordance with Schedule 9, paragraph 1 Equality Act 2010.

You will need to be a car driver and able to work some evenings and weekends and also sleep in on a roster basis.
