A leading Housing association with a strong background in Homeless services have an incredible opportunity to join their Homeless support department based in Birmingham West Midlands.

The role
- Working in an office contacting local authorities and homeless services for clients that are requiring accommodation.
- Looking through detailed information on clients to ensure we can meet their support needs.
- Deciding where to correctly place individuals for accommodation.
- Finding alternative accommodation for clients to move on that are currently residing within our residence.
- Ensuring all current vacant rooms are filled within a timely manner.
- Chasing outstanding payments with housing benefits team.
- Ensuring all clients housing benefit are up and running.
- Ensuring all clients claims are up and running.
Skills and experience
- 6-12 months experience with homeless services
- Ideally experience working with Housing benefit and referral agencies
- Good communication skills

- 0900 - 1700
