Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.

It is an exciting and important time to be joining us at Crisis. We work with thousands of people across England, Scotland and Wales so they can leave homelessness behind for good. We have recently adapted the way our services work to maximise our impact in ending homelessness. We have increased our capacity to work with people one to one and also strengthened our ability to support those people facing the greatest barriers to preventing or ending their homelessness.

Title: Receptionists (2 x full time, 1 part time)

**Salary**: £24,643 (35 hours FTE) and £11,265 (16 hours) per annum

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours full time and 16 hours part time

Location: Based in the Newcastle Skylight

**About the role**

Due to development of our services, we are increasing the size of our reception function within our Engagement and Assessment Team.

The Engagement and Assessment service is the first point of contact for all new members to Crisis services. As one of the receptionists you will work within a dynamic and fast paced team offering a positive welcome to Crisis services for all new and existing members.

In an ever more challenging landscape, we must be innovative and creative to assist members in achieving their housing goals.

**About you**

To be successful in these roles you will have relevant experience of working in a receptionist or administrative support role in a fast paced and busy service.

You will have some experience of working with challenging and vulnerable people and excellent communication skills to engage with individuals effectively.

You will also have excellent IT skills, record information accurately with a drive and enthusiasm to continuously develop, evaluate and improve services.
