**The Team**
The Supply Chain team are at the forefront of the end-to-end operational delivery of the business. From purchasing raw materials, componentry, and product to shipping of finished goods across the globe, and everything in between from planning, stock control and supporting logistics. The Supply Chain team support the company’s goal to be the global partner of choice.
**The Role**
This is a new role reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and based in Wellington, Somerset. The Demand Planner is responsible for all medium and long-term planning activities associated with our customers and products for our Wellington (UK) and Tabor (CZ). The Demand Planner is the integration point into the sales and commercial organisation and will lead the monthly dialogue for the respective product categories with key counterparts in Sales and Operations.

The supply chain team work collaboratively within the Operational functions, supporting the Production, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure cost effectiveness; the Supply Chain team are at the heart of the business functions and are dedicated to reaching our goals. **What does a typical day look like?**
- You will use your IT skills to maximise the capacity of the operation, ensuring the correct materials are available according to forecasts and offering multiple modules, depending on the needs of the business
- You will use your research skills to ensure the data is accurate, up to date and appropriate, to inform stakeholders in respect of capacity capabilities and requirements
- You will use your analytical skills to create and aggregate forecasts, and create capacity plans for multiple sites
- You will use your investigatory skills to reconcile variances and refine capacity models to reflect updates
- You will use your communication skills to maintain regular contact with other departments to understand demand drivers
- You will use your collaborative skills to work with the supply chain team to ensure you have the correct data and support the supply chain team with development strategies and to facilitate a collaborative planning process with associated departments
- You will use your analytical skills to create and aggregate forecasts, and create capacity plans for multiple sites
- You will use your flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment to achieve your personal and company goals
