**The role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Director of Admissions at one of the UK’s leading Universities. The new postholder will join us at a pivotal time in the establishment of the Education and Student Success Division; bringing together Recruitment, Admissions, Registry Services, various Student Support Services teams, Campus and Accommodation teams and Careers teams.

**What will you be doing?**:
As Deputy Director of Admissions, you will lead two large Admissions teams and an Admissions Compliance team. You will be expected to support a highly collaborative culture which fosters effective cross-team working at peak delivery times in the admissions cycle.

An effective and efficient forward planner who uses evidence based approaches to develop the service, the team structure and allocate resources as required to align service delivery to the future University Recruitment strategy.

You will be an expert source of advice and guidance on Admissions policy, procedures and current HE sector developments within the Admissions space. You will be an effective networker comfortable liaising with sector colleagues in similar roles across a range of Admissions HE networks.

You are an energetic, dynamic and experienced Higher Education Admissions professional with managerial and leadership experience.

You enjoy building, motivating and supporting high performing teams to provide an excellent applicant experience.

You are experienced at both developing and reviewing policy, while also ensuring process and system innovation and optimisation is being achieved.

You will be an excellent networker and quick to build effective working relationships within the Education Division, with Academic Admissions Officers and with other key stakeholders across the University.

**You could be our Deputy Director of Admissions if**: You are an experienced UK Higher Education Admissions professional, who is experienced in leading UG and/or PG Admissions teams looking for your next career move to a leading UK University within the Russell Group.

**Additional information**:
**Contract type: Open ended**

**Work pattern: 35 hours per week**

**Grade: L**

**Please note the salary range for this role is £57,696 - £64,914. However, we can potentially consider a higher salary package if you have exceptional skills and experience that align with this role.**
