Waiting Staff

We have recently taken ownership of the George Inn in the adorable little hamlet of Finchdean, the George is a lovely 18th Century pub nestled in the wonderful Hampshire countryside. This is our 2nd addition to our little pub family and is the sister pub to The Anglesey Arms in Halnaker, Chichester. We took that over 2 years ago and has gone from strength the strength and this is our aim with thr George To build the George up and love up to its potential and we can only do this with good team

Sooo....We are seeking an experienced individual who can join the team and grow with this business. Someone who had been doing this role for a quite awhile. We prize ourselves on delivering an experience for the guests to remember and we are a small team, looking to grow as pur reputation and sales increase. So why not come along with us and help us grow this business into the gem that we all k ow and believe it will be

Tips at The George should average at extra an £3-£4 extra an hour of the hours you work, as we build up the reputation to become a food destination once again.

Must be available to work weekends

A driving licence or means to get to and from work is not essential but would help due to lacking of public transport in the area.
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver orders to tables and ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer customer questions
- Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages (bartending skills required)
- Clear tables and clean dining area
- Handle cash transactions and process payments

**Skills**:

- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and practices
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Experience working in a restaurant setting
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
