**The role**:
Lineage is currently searching for a Payroll Clerk to join our growing team; this will be on a 12 months fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

Working Monday - Friday 08:00-16:00 this will be a Hybrid role after completion of training.

**Salary**: Up to £26,000 per annum depending on experience.

To support the HR and Payroll team by:

- Investigating wage queries for hours, shift pay, salary, tax codes, statutory payments etc.
- Set up new hires for payroll processing.
- Calculate payments for leavers.
- Process shift changes and system information updates.
- Maintain the administration of benefit schemes such as auto-enrol pensions, childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme, credit union etc.
- Maintaining discretion, and confidentiality at all times.
- Uploading pensions to ensure payments are made on time.
- Assist with audit queries and gathering information.
- System cleanse to ensure all information is correct.
- Assist HR / Managers with re-calculations of salary due to shift changes.

**Who we're looking for**:

- Experience working within a payroll environment.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Great customer service skills.
- The ability to thrive in a highly collaborative team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the wider operational teams.
- You will be confident in being responsible for the accurate and timely processing of our weekly and monthly payroll via Dayforce and Workday for 1800 colleagues, full systems training will be given.

**Experience**:

- Have an understanding of payroll.
- Of statutory payments SSP, SPP, SMP, SHPP etc.
- Of tax calculations and tax codes.
- Excel knowledge.
- Payroll system knowledge (Workday favourable).
