Pyramid8 is working on behalf of an exciting charity in Sheffield to recruit a permanent People and Operations Officer / HR Officer to work withing the Operations and HR team to focus is and provide excellent corporate services to the business, which include the management of our office facilities, our internal IT systems and business processes and Human Resources and recruitment activities.

About the role

You will support the HR & Operations functions to ensure staff have the facilities and services they need to thrive at work:

- Manage contracts with landlord, office suppliers & service providers
- Provide office & HR inductions to new staff & coordinate recruitment activities
- Lead on the procurement of all goods and services associated with the office
- Support internal projects being managed by the HR & Operations Managers
- Lead on the physical aspects of business continuity
- Coordinate and record staff training requirements

Essential experience

As an applicant it is essential that you are able to demonstrate that you possess the following experience, knowledge, skills, education, and qualifications:

- Experience of managing offices and facilities
- Experience in providing HR Support and administration
- Experience of carrying out a wide range of administrative tasks in an office environment under minimum supervision
- Experience of running health and safety inspections and risk assessments
- Experience of delivering staff inductions and onboarding
- Experience of using online booking systems
- Experience of managing contracts with suppliers and getting the best from procurement
- Good use of technology to do the job
- Commitment to Good Things Foundation’s objectives and goals
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
