Undergraduate Placement

Forbes Solicitors are looking for a undergraduate student to join the Marketing Team at our Lancashire offices. This is a full time role working 36.25 hours per week, Monday - Friday, however, part time hours will be considered.

This is a great opportunity for an undergraduate student to gain experience within a professional marketing team to complement their degree studies. Whilst the role will be working to the fast-pace, customer focus and high standards of a law firm, the role will also provide a sustainable work-life balance and relate to the regional area in which it is based.

The role will be responsible for delivering successful outcomes such as:

- Assistance and attendance at large events such seminars and conferences;
- Assistance with setting up online webinars;
- Organisation and attendance at small events such as Expos & shows;
- Design of social media graphics;
- Video production, editing and working with the team to create content;
- Preparation of presentations and handouts for presentations and seminars;
- Amending and updating the intranet and website, profiles, photos, events;
- Production and distribution of e-alerts and newsletters;
- Adding new contacts and updating the Marketing Database;
- Sourcing and ordering of giveaways and other stock;
- Other duties as required by the Marketing Department.

- Have 3 A-Levels, or equivalent, grades A* - C;
- Full UK driving licence and own car as the successful applicant will be required to attend events and travel to different offices.
- Be studying full-time at a UK-based university;
- Have a passion for Marketing;
- Have strong local connections to the Firm;
- Have good interpersonal and organisational skills;
- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative duties;
- Be IT competent;
- Have a willingness to learn and develop skills as they progress.
