ENGIE are recruiting for a **Market Interaction and Metering Administrator **to be based in **Leeds**. This is a permanent full time role working 37 hours per week. Working is flexible in relation to office attendance (1-2 days per week) and standard office hours (8:30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am - 4:30pm Friday) are expected. Key Accountabilities:
Responsibilities of the Market interaction and Metering Administrator can include:

- Registration (and management of losses) of customers in a timely and accurate manner, assisting with the maintenance and development of all registration systems and processes
- Responding to gas emergencies in line with industry requirements
- Ensuring that relevant agents are appointed/de-appointed within industry timescales
- Ensuring that start and end reads are received for all new gains and losses in a timely manner
- Processing Changes of Measurement Class
- Administrative support for siteworks for new connections and changes to existing meters including energisation and de-energisation for electricity meters
- Administrative support for meter removals and full-service disconnections
- Resolution of meter faults, compliances and exceptions
- Supporting the roll-out of Smart and Advanced meters to comply with Supply Licence Conditions and the commercial needs of the business.
- Assisting with the process of identifying inherited Smart meters and operating these in Smart mode as soon as practically possible.
- Understanding ENGIE’s contractual relationships with Meter Operators, Meter Asset Providers, Smart Meter System Operators (SMSOs) and the Smart Data Communications Company (DCC) to support the roll-out and help ensure that contractual service levels are appropriate and met
- Working with relevant internal stakeholders, to maintain efficient processes for the identification, fulfilment and follow up of Smart and Advanced meter installation requirements to ensure a market leading customer experience of Smart and Advanced meter installation and subsequent usage.
- Responding effectively to and helping resolve queries in relation to Change of Supply, Smart and Advanced meters and associated activities.
- Assisting in complying with Ofgem, BEIS, and DCC requests for information and reports on progress.
- Helping to ensure that all smart meter installations are compliant with the Smart Metering Installation Code of Practice.
- Liaising effectively with third party agents.
- Adhering to internal processes and risk frameworks

Knowledge and skills:

- Numerical skills
- Verbal comprehension
- Microsoft Office proficient
- Proven ability to produce accurate work within tight deadlines
- Practical approach to problem solving
- Good time management and personal organisations skills
- General understanding of the Smart metering programme and the functionality of Smart and AMR meters
- Understanding of the registration processes and interdependencies between customer setup and interfacing departments is advantageous

**Experience**:

- Experience in a logístical, service provider administration role
- Experience from a similar role within the Energy sector, desirable
- Preferable experience of a customer setup role

Qualifications:

- Degree level (or equivalent), preferable
- GCSE Maths Grade C (or equivalent)
- GCSE English Grade C (or equivalent)
