Do you have a keen interest in construction and the built environment? The desire to learn and progress within the construction industry. If so, we are looking for an Assistant Construction Project Manager to join Jardine Motors Group.

In this role, you will assist the Project Management Team in the planning, production, and administration of all construction projects from start to finish, including working closely with internal processes and procedures.

Reporting of project progress: Time/Cost/Quality/H&S/Sustainability to the Group Property Manager.

This role is remote based but travel to our dealership locations is required.

- The management of specific Construction projects and the satisfactory delivery of all its tasks.
- Ensuring that appropriate competent resources are available to manage specific construction projects from start to finish.
- Supporting and guiding the Construction contractors in fulfilling their responsibilities, including clarifying as necessary all Brand requirements as set out in the relevant CI manuals, standards and guidelines.
- Overall project follow ups.
- Providing support to the project development phase of the project in matters of technical and construction costs.
- Managing and following up project budget estimates and time schedules for investment approval purposes.
- Monitoring the obtaining of all necessary building control permits to enable the construction of projects to begin.
- Support with the procurement of all existing consultants, suppliers and contractors in accordance with established JMG routines.
- Managing external counterparts to ensure project construction is executed correctly to satisfy the project requirements of site safety, quality, time and budget.
- Controlling all aspects of specific project construction costs.
- Ensuring the satisfactory hand-over of completed areas.
- Ensuring satisfactory commissioning, testing, training and the hand-over of technical and building systems to the building operation staff, including the provision of all necessary documentation.
- Attending site meetings.
- Update monthly project report in conjunction with JMG construction partner for issue to Group Property Director.
- Monitoring and closing off snagging and any defective work.
- Manage projects and assist in keeping them on track.
- Undertake daily administration to support the Project management team.

- Quality & design workmanship.
- Have a desire to learn, improve and progress within the construction environment (Study to achieve MCIOB, RICS status).
- Have studied in a construction or services related apprenticeship and wish to progress into construction project management.
