Food and Beverage Server

We are an Chai House in Chorlton seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front of House server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanour
- Take food orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain cleanliness of the front end area, including tables, counters, and seating areas
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures
- Adhere to company policies and standards for guest services

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling purposes
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with co workers
- Culinary knowledge of Indian and middle Eastern cuisine desirable

Working hours Early shift 9pm -3pm or Late shift 4pm-10pm (11pm close Fri/Sat) includes weekends

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £8.50-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 7 per week

- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chorlton cum Hardy: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
