**We have an exciting opportunity available for a Commercial Manager to join our team in Dublin, leading the commercial strategy for all of Ireland.Growing the business throughout the Country and adhering to the Benefit Business Model.**

**Responsibilities**

**The Role**:

- Reporting to the Country Manager, this role is responsible for driving and nurturing our field-based Sales and Education team (3 Sales Development Managers, 1 Education Manager) and oversee the management of 2 Benefit Boutiques in Dublin and Kildare village.
- To work in the field coaching and developing the team to deliver the Sell-out objectives in each door.
- To maximise all retail opportunities withing Benefit boutiques and department stores.

**Retail Sales**
- Discuss and agree monthly sales targets with General Manager.
- To continually focus on driving the retail sales by training, coaching and working with the teams in stores.
- Monitor and analyse weekly / monthly / quarterly retail sales to ensure actual in line with forecasts.
- Analyse new product sales ensuring all opportunities are being maximised.

**People / Management**
- To constantly motivate and lead the Sales Development Managers/ Education Manager and Boutique Managers as well as managing closely their performance and productivity.
- To train and coach the team ensuring that they are given all the tools to do the job.
- **New Store Openings.**
- To assist in commercial negotiations including cost share & FTE, counter space, location and amount of new door openings with specialist stores.
- To build strong relationships with key players and Head Office.
- Liaise with Marketing / Operations to ensure that all new stores are supported.
- To identify and assess new distribution opportunities.

**Forecasting / Budgets**
- Produce Quarterly forecast based on actuals and reforecast sales/costs.
- Produce Monthly sales forecasts updating with proposed new Stores.
- Produce Annual budget.
- Allocate resources within budget parameters and in accordance with actual sales trend to protect bottom line. Focus headcount and other investments on sell-out.
- Continually review the P&L ensuring it is in line with agreed objectives.

**Qualifications**
- At least 5 years commercial retail experience
- Multi-Site Management essential
- Strong Management Skills
- Excellent Commercial Awareness & Business Acumen
- Strong Finance and analytical skills
- Strong Negotiating and influencing skills
- Works well under pressure and to deadlines
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Strong Problem Solving / Analytical Skills
- Good attention to detail
- Good Planning & Organisation skills
