The Opportunity

The Commercial Performance and Planning Executive is a permanent position offering a salary between £30,000 - £34,000 per annum with an Accelerator bonus based in Hertford.

The Role

The role of the commercial performance and planning Executive is varied, face paced and always full of new challenges. They support the client team in sales and revenue generation and ensure the delivery of service levels. They work closely with the client maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and contract compliance. With the support of the Head of Commercial Performance & Planning and Commercial Performance and Planning Manager, they will inform, advise and challenge the Client Service Directors [CSD] on service level performance, contractual compliance and financial performance.

The role requires a good balance of confidence, hard work and creative thinking. Our clients have high expectations, and we rise to them.

Key Responsibilities:

- Produce weekly/monthly/quarterly client performance reports, business reviews and analysis of impact / risks / opportunities across all teams.
- Carry out analysis across all data sources available working with the Data and Analytics and Market Insight teams to provide actionable insight for client development and external client teams.
- Build relationships with internal departments and CSDs to ensure contractual compliance, governance structure, risk management, action planning (Accelerating performance, addressing under performance) all adhered to.
- Support throughout performance management cycle for existing and new business
- establish relevant KPIs
- ensure data capture, reporting and audit evidence are set up
- report on project impact during and post project completion
- Work with management teams to produce reports to track performance from project overview down to individual and store level
- Understand the market, trends, competitor ranges and initiatives from market research and commercial analytics.
- Visualise and communicate data in clear, concise manor suitable for the target audience

Skill and Experience

Essential:

- Experience in an analytical role
- Good understanding of statistical concepts
- Excel - advanced and experience using SQL Server and Power Query preferred
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation
- Good interpersonal skills - able to build and maintain relationships at all levels
- Good commercial awareness and critical thinker

Desirable:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels
