Neon Healthcare is a fast-growing and ambitious pharmaceutical company that develops, produces, markets, and sells prescription only medicines to hospitals, wholesalers, and retail pharmacies. Founded by entrepreneurs with a successful track in building pharmaceutical businesses, the company has significant operations in the UK and is looking to expand its activities into other markets.
Neon is seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic individual to make a significant contribution to the continued growth and success of the UK business company. The role of UK Commercial Officer is a key role within the Commercial Function, supporting our UK Sales Capability.
This role is reporting to the Head of Commercial.
**Description of Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Co-ordinating and delivering the UK Commercial Office based activities:_
- **Working along side the UK Commercial Team to ensure the appropriate execution and compliance of our commercial activities in wholesaler, retail and hospitals**:_
- Ensuring wholesaler inventory levels are maintained for the Neon UK portfolio
- Establishing the evolving purchasing parameters and ensuring compliant purchasing by pharmacy for Brand Equalisation Deals
- Ensuring compliant purchasing by hospital for Contracted Lines
**Reporting Commercial Function performance**:
- Developing and presenting commercial performance metrics in line with the needs of the Commercial Leadership, to ensure appropriate information is available for decision making.
- Owning the reporting process of all DHSC and controlled drug routine reporting
- **Commercial Insight process ownership**:_
- Utilise existing and new external data sources to provide regular commercial insights to the UK Commercial Team, in the areas of competition, pricing and product/therapy area pharmaceutical usage
- Through insight generation, support the commercial assessments of new Business Development acquisition targets
- In-bound enquiries:_
- Under the guidance of Neon’s Operations Manager, support the customer inbound enquiries process.
- Ad hoc project based activities:_
- This role is designed as a role to support the learning and development of pharmaceutical commercial team members. To support this, we would look for incremental project-based work opportunities to support this development objective.

- Strong numerical skills
- Proven Data Analysis and reporting experience.
- Good Excel skills are essential
- Pharmaceutical sales, marketing & operations background, preferable but not essential.
- Understanding of GDP and SOPs, MHRA and other compliance requirements, preferable but not essential.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £32,000.00 per year
