THIS POST IS FIXED TERM/ SECONDMENT FOR 1 YEAR DUE TO MATERNITY COVER.

As a Community Health Care Support Worker, you will support the delivery of nursing care to clients within a clinical setting and/or home environment, as part of a team and under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

This is a 1 year fixed post to provide cover for a team member on maternity leave.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Support Worker within in Builth Wells Community Nursing service based at Glan Irfon. The post holder would be based with and work under the supervision/ guidance of Builth Wells and Rhayader District Nurse team.

We welcome somebody who is caring, sympathetic and able to learn new skills and provide excellent communication and an attitude that ensures the highest standard of care for our patients. The ability to follow policies and procedures as necessary and is NVQ Level 3 qualified or equivalent in healthcare.

This will also include some administration duties. It is essential to have good ICT and communication skills for this role.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
