Production Team Leader

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to join an established manufacturing company in Coventry.
You will spend most of your time on the production line with the team and around 25% of your time leading the team.
**Key Performance Areas**
- Provide support and report into the production Supervisor
- Lead by example as the Team Leader and set the standards
- Ensure that the targets are met consistently within the given deadlines
- Monitor and evaluate work done by team members to identify any problems and issues
- Hold daily briefings with the team members to keep them informed of plans, expectations, safety and quality updates, performance feedback and toolbox talks
- Ensuring that the work areas are safe, and tasks are completely in alignment with Health & Safety standards
- Understand and enforce BOPAS compliance
- Report any incidences or accidents on the factory floor as per procedure and complete the required documents
- Ensuring staff are aware and following the correct Work Instructions and drawings to complete their work and raising cards to capture any required changes
- Ensuring staff have the right equipment and tooling to complete their job which is safe and calibrated for use.
- Recording and monitoring of the team members performance and competence
**Qualifications and experience**
- Proven work experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor within a manufacturing environment
- Multi-skilled Tradesperson and related qualifications
**Requirements**:
- In -depth knowledge of performance metrics for reporting purposes
- Competence in the MS Office Suite
- Willing to learn new software and systems
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills and the ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Good communication and people skills to lead the team in a cohesive and collaborative manner
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
