Plastic Granulator Operator

**Position Summary**

Due to continued growth and development, WRC is recruiting for a **Plastic Granulator Operator** to join our growing team in support of our ongoing expansion in the Environmental industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong knowledge of the plastics industry.

**Duties**
- Ensuring dedicated machines run with mínimal downtime
- Plan workload in advance with other team members to ensure sufficient materials are available for current and future manufacturing orders
- Input production / Quality data onto production records
- Ensure full Compliance with all relevant Quality Procedures
- Identify faults and carry out basic maintenance activities.
- Maintain High Housekeeping standards
- Report all Quality, H&S, Production, and Maintenance issues to the supervisor
- Move finished goods accordingly.

**Requirements of the role**
- Experience working within a plastic recycling or manufacturing environment is essential
- A comprehensive understanding of strict polymer quality control
- Competent understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time-keeping skills
- Good communications skills; Liaising with other members of staff at all levels
- Good organisation and planning skills
