** THE CONTEXT**

The successful delivery of a Global Security Management framework aligned to international standards ISO27001 with the aim of proactively protecting brambles people and assets around the Globe.

Ensuring key customer commercial contract obligations are clear, known and managed effectively and working in partnership with procurement to maximize the cost reduction opportunities by consolidating the current security vendor arena, whilst improving quality of service to the brambles undertakings.

Key accountabilities:

- Reporting to the Global Safety, BCM, Wellbeing & Security Executive, the role will directly drive the design, development and successful execution of the global incident prevention strategy including guidelines, road maps and leading indicators
- Support through a matrix model the development, coordination and effectiveness of the Global Security framework aligned to ISO 27001 standards.
- Deputize for the Global Safety, BCM, Wellbeing & Security Executive when and where required.
- Directly support the reduction and continuous improvement of Security related incidents
- Improve Security performance as well as limit and control the Security impacts towards Brambles’ businesses.
- The Global coordination of Security vendors, optimizing cost reduction and improved quality of service
- Day to day responsibility for steering of Security practices and improvement programs and projects across the globe.
- Managing the shift toward predictive data analytics and pro-active site risk profiling.
- Introduction of the new Brambles Security framework that will allow for incident and cost base management for each Brambles location around the world.
- Driving the organisation to work more up-stream on incident prevention, this will include accelerating technology on security critical protection aspects, improved process security resilience and integrate with plant of the future concepts where applicable.
- Understand commercial liabilities for customer contractual obligations and ensure compliance towards them.
- The role holder will also aid in the development of company standards and implementation of security programs globally.
- This position requires regular coordination with senior management and frequent global travel.
- Responsible for formulating, implementing, and managing global security projects ensuring that consistent, high-quality projects are provided to the business through project work streams, while providing effective governance, benefits identification/tracking, stakeholder management and communication.
- Development of Security Management Reporting and performance management for all business areas.
- Supporting development of security strategies within the organization in collaboration with the stakeholders (i.e. products, sectors, business areas) considering governmental, industry and customers’ security requirements.
- Develop close working relationships with key stakeholders and business stakeholders and ensure appropriate level of participation throughout project/initiative engagement
- Manage customer expectations and report programme status and progress.
- Ensure that customer drivers and priorities are understood and addressed.
